I didn’t realize until Sunday…

Posted by Pete on January 26th, 2004

Saturday night a bunch of us went to the Supercross Championship at Qualcom Stadium to see some dirt bike racing. It was pretty cool but it started about an hour late. We didn’t know why at the time but apparently there was a pretty serious wreck that happened before most of the crowd arrived. We left the event still unaware of the incident and it was only when I was on the computer on Sunday that I found out that someone had died. The story below give some detail but I guess they didn’t announce anything because there were friends and family in the stands that they wanted to talk to before letting anyone else know.Yahoo! Funny Classifieds

Posted by Pete on January 18th, 2004

Ever read the classifieds and found something funny? This site tracks all of the odd and quirky online posts that people list. Some are things for sale (such as an old desk that can’t be given away) and others are a little more racy such as the rant about why we don’t have personal jet-packs by now as promised in the 1950’s. Trap Shooting

Posted by Pete on January 18th, 2004

Trap shooting was the correct term to use for yesterday. The difference between trap and skeet is mostly the direction the clay pigeon travels I believe. Trap shooting involves the pigeon moving away from the shooter and with Skeet shooting, it moves across the horizon. We originally were going to do both but with the place closing soon we only had time for trap. Of course I was happy just to go. It was a lot easier and a lot cheaper than I expected. My first time I shot 10/25 and then after that I was 16/25. I will definitely be returning soon.

First Post

Ok, this is actually not my first post but the others have disappeared and I’m not able to find them. They could be archived or deleted. Either way they were boring…kind of like this one.
