For the past 3-4 weeks, every Monday night I’ve been volunteering at the Discovery Center teaching an individual some basic computer skills. I wrote about this a while ago but it had died off for a little bit and only recently did it pick up again. Anyway, so far we’ve been reviewing Excel and Outlook and it seems to be going well for him. Plus it give me practice in taking a complex application and describing it in simplified terms…something I have to do quite often with my career in order to communicate new functionality to stakeholders.

So I was thinking about what I could do to improve on my condo and I came across a website with “unusual” items for sale. I used to have an aquarium in college and I always wished I had kept it after I graduated so I think this may be a good idea, no? By the way, it’s called an “aquariass.” 
Condo Update

T-Minus less than 30 days till I close on my condo. I just found out my tentative move in date but I’m not posting it in hopes of not giving people time to prepare an excuse when I ask them to help me move.
Just kidding, I’m expecting to move in on the 13th of September (happy birthday pops!). I was originally scheduled for the 11th which was bad since that’s the Charger’s home opener for the season and everyone I know will be busy that day. Thanks to a scheduling error however, they had to change the date to the 13th which works out better.
The reason for the move in date is to stagger when people can use the elevator. Otherwise it would probably be something like my freshman year at Purdue when everyone triedto move into the dorms at the same time.
Now the dilema, do I bother to clean my current apartment anymore or just wait for one last cleaning after I move out? Its really not that bad considering I just cleaned it a couple of weeks ago but maybe I’m just trying to justify being lazy?
