I love PodTrapper for my BlackBerry. If you listen to podcasts or watch video podcasts this is the app for you. After installing, you add the RSS feed to the BlackBerry Phone application and then it will automatically OTA (Over the Air) download the podcast to your cell phone. No more wires and hooking your phone up to a computer, now you can just let it download directly through a WiFi or cellular network connection. Price – $9.99

Big props to posterous for finally solving the WordPress dilemma of allowing images to be posted via email for blog postings. Previously you couldn’t post with images to WordPress by sending an email. It appears that Posterous has found a way to do so and on top of that, allow video, music and text. Plus it integrates with a number of other applications out there like blogger, flickr, facebook and twitter.
Kind of cool since I can now post things much easier from my BlackBerry by just sending it as an email. Plus one of their founders, spent some time troubleshooting with me as I came to realize you must upgrade to the latest version of WordPress to avoid any legacy issues with posting. Certainly a great start on customer service as well.
I’m looking forward to trying this out a but more.

My local barometer around the state of the economy (and specifically the San Diego real estate market) consists on counting the number of lock boxes outside my building. Each lock box represents a condo for sale. Looks like we still have a while before things get better.

I’ve seen these before on humor sites but this was my first experience with it directly. I’m still not sure what the second word is supposed to be. It looks like a couple of symbols? The sad thing is when I tried to select the “visually impaired” button (expecting it to verbally identify the words) I was presented with a new captcha. I guess we may never know the answer.

I’m by no means a Steelers fan but I found an article about the history of the terrible towel. This is actually a pretty interesting story…
